The Hepatocyte Transplantation team is working to find new cures for the treatment of children with liver diseases. The Research Assistant will undertake pre-clinical experiments that will allow the team to move research from bench to bedside, further demonstrating the commercial potential of our newly-developed treatment for acute liver failure.
We are seeking candidates with a strong experience in preclinical experiments, but also cell biology and cell culture.
Training will be given for the selected candidate to encapsulate cells and participate in the clinical/GMP isolation of primary human hepatocytes in the NIHR/Welcome Trust Cell Therapy Unit based at King’s College Hospital, in Denmark Hill.
More information about our work can be found on our website: dhawanlab.org, as well as the attached Job Information pack.
